About cookies

To give you as a visitor a good experience when using our website, we use cookies. Cookies are used to measure the traffic on our website and statistics.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small amount of data that usually has a unique stamp. This data is sent from a website to your browser and stored there, on your hard drive, so that the site can recognize your computer and usage preferences. All websites can send cookies to your browser if your browser settings allow. For this information to not be misused, websites can only receive information from cookies saved by these websites and not any cookies saved by other websites.

There are two types of cookies, permanent and temporary (so-called session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer for an extended period of time. Session cookies are temporarily placed on your computer when you visit a website, but get removed when you close the page, which means that they are not permanently stored on your computer. Most companies use cookies on their websites to improve usability; cookies cannot damage your files or increase the risk of viruses on your computer.

As a user you have the option to set whether you want cookies to be automatically saved in your browser or if you want to be asked every time a cookie should be saved or if you want no cookies to be saved. Cookies are used on many websites, not just our site, to keep track of whether the browser has visited the site before and what choices have been made. Every visit to the site is checked for any cookies that are stored in the browser or not. If there are no stored cookies from the website, the browser saves the cookies that are on the site.

More information about cookies can be found on the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency’s website,
